Businesses we've built and helped grow over 13 years — now streamlined for you.
Most people try to start a tutoring agency alone.
That's why it stalls.
A website parents don't quite trust. Child-safety policies written quickly. No idea where to find tutors, or how to scale and manage 100 students.
These aren't signs you're not cut out for this — they're signs you're doing it without the system.
We've spent 13 years building businesses for clients — compliance, brands, apps, systems — and we've turned that into a step-by-step tutoring agency setup that takes the guesswork out of every stage, from your first policy to your first enrolment.

Why not just do all this yourself?
You absolutely could. Though what you might save upfront, would likely cost you months in launch time and revenue.
You can either own your agency.
Or rent a franchise.
A franchise takes tens of thousands upfront, then a share of every dollar for as long as you trade. This is yours from day one.
Three ways to start. Only one of them is yours to keep.

That last row is deliberate. Nobody hands you students — not us, not a franchise. What we remove is the six months of building, the risk of getting the contracts wrong, and a lifetime of paying someone else a percentage of your work.

Questions we haven't yet covered
-
How many students do I actually need before this pays me properly?
Fewer than most people assume. Group classes are where the margin is — one tutor teaching six students earns several times what the same hour earns one-to-one, and the room hire is a few dollars per student. The honest version is that fifteen to twenty students across a mix of private and group gets you to real money, and you won't get there in month one. I'll model it with your actual rates and your actual area before you commit to anything, and if the numbers don't work for your situation I'll tell you.
-
What if I can't find tutors?
This is the right question, and almost nobody asks it. Tutor supply is the constraint in this business, not student demand. The package includes where they actually come from, a four-stage screening process, and the fifteen-minute teaching sample that predicts quality better than any CV. But it's worth being blunt: if you can't name three teachers today who might tutor for you, that's the thing to solve before anything else. Happy to talk through whether your network is strong enough.
-
Do I need premises, and what does it cost if I don't?
No. You can run this from a community hall or library meeting room hired by the hour, term by term, and only during school terms. That means your fixed costs are a fraction of a lease and you break even at a handful of students instead of forty. Premises are something you grow into once you know which days and times actually fill — not something you commit to on day one with a personal guarantee attached.
-
How is this different from just buying a franchise?
A franchise charges tens of thousands upfront and then a share of every dollar you earn, for as long as you trade. You get their name, a fixed territory, their fee structure, and an agreement that usually prevents you operating independently for years after you leave. This is a one-off cost. Your name, your rates, your territory, your asset — and you can sell it to whoever you like. I'm happy to put the two side by side with real numbers for your situation.
-
What happens if something breaks, or I get stuck?
Thirty days of support after handover, and live one-on-one training that's recorded so you can go back to it. Beyond that, ongoing support is available monthly if you'd rather not run the admin yourself — but it's optional, not a lock-in. Most people take it for the first term and drop it once the rhythm is established.
-
Can I see it before I commit?
Yes, and I'd rather you did. Wee'll schedule a walkthrough demo and so you can look through every system yourself, or take you through it live on a screen share. No obligation, and if I think you'd be better off doing something else, I'll say so. That conversation costs you twenty minutes and it's the fastest way to find out whether this is right for you.
